Fitness can be defined as being in shape and condition. Fitness is the quality of being suitable for a particular position or work. Fitness is measured by three main points for the general public. The physical, emotional and mental fitness of the person relates to the overall fitness.

What is fitness is defined by the quality and the quantity of work that a person can perform. It not only matters how far you run, or how long you perform exercises. It matters on what activity is performed, how it is performed and at what intensity, and how long it is performed. For a child, what is fitness translates to be able to play unhindered and to perform his studies with a good concentration? For a teenager, fitness would mean being in shape and looking beautiful. For a specialized profession like sports, fitness would mean maximum physical activity with great strength and endurance. For a profession where a person is required to sit all day long and concentrate, concentration and mental fitness are of more value. For an elderly person, being fit translates to be healthy and not being sick.

It refers to the amounts of muscle, fat, bone, etc. The total body weight may be a constant but the body composition changes over time and should be taken into account to maintain good levels of fitness. Flexibility just like the same sounds refers to the flexibility of the body. The amount of flexibility in the joints of the body can help prevent injuries and help maintain the fitness of the person.

Once upon a time, what is fitness referred to the capacity to perform the duties without tiredness? Nowadays, with increased awareness, fitness means to be healthy, to resist diseases and also the body’s ability to perform effectively and efficiently at work.
